Thomas Scott Plunkett established T.S. Plunkett Builders in 1903. In over 100 years since then, Plunkett Homes has designed and built many thousands of homes for Western Australians, and created numerous ‘firsts’ along the way.
 
These include:
 
The introduction of the first gas appliances to Display Homes, in 1964;
WA’s first Display Home with a pergola, 1973;
The first zero lot line designs, 1978;
First WA builder to use steel roof frames 1998.

Plunkett has always been at the forefront of the building industry in WA, playing a major role in wartime defence building, being among the first to build ‘spec’ homes that were the forerunners of today’s display centres, and being instrumental in the opening of suburbs such as North Perth, Claremont, Nedlands, Melville, Woodlands and more. 

Plunkett Homes was the first major builder from Perth to establish themselves in the South-West in 1981. Plunkett South-West have built homes to Waroona in the north, Williams in the east and Augusta in the south. 
Today Plunkett is still an industry leader, our designs are innovative and award winning and our staff are committed to helping our customers achieve their lifestyle dreams. 

In 2006, Plunkett Homes became a member of the JWH Group Pty Ltd and it now forms an integral part of one of the largest home building groups in Australia.

The Plunkett group has an extensive range of designs with our Urban Living range catering for the suburban lifestyle, our Country Style range of homes providing exciting designs for clients with larger blocks, and our City Living range catering for smaller lots with a mixture of single storey and double storey homes. Our Domain Homes brand caters for first home buyers with a specifically designed range of homes with its own specification designed to assist people beat the affordability trap, and finally we have the Plunkett Projects team who specialize in unit developments both in Perth and the South West.
